Working with your town or neighborhood to clean up litter.

The first way to help is volunteer your time because you want to clean up your environment. 

Secondly, maybe you feel bad about those papers that flew out the window that day…two years ago.   You can donate a couple of hours to clean up…it does make a difference.

Lastly, someone you know needs some time to think; cleaning up trash for 10 hours is very humbling.  Volunteer your wayward child or young adult to our group.  Make sure they have $25.00 to buy a t-shirt for advertisement for there time.  We will also document the volunteers’ time as needed.

We will meet volunteers at a site with supplies for clean up; gloves, buckets, recycling bins, trash bags, etc.  You will need boots or sneakers, pants, one ihatelitter.org t-shirt, and a good attitude. 

It is not fun work but it makes a difference.
